Escape to the Ozarks, is a brand-new signature event from the Kansas City Region Porsche Club of America—designed to become a weekend you’ll look forward to year after year.
Combined with an HPDE, Escape to the Ozarks is a thoughtfully crafted PCA experience that brings drivers, passengers, families, and friends together for great roads, great cars, and even better camaraderie.
Whether you’re driving on the track, riding along, showing your car, or enjoying the social side of the club, this weekend is built so everyone has a meaningful way to be part of the action. With strong participation from the St. Louis and Ozark Lakes Regions, Escape to the Ozarks is shaping up to be a truly special multi-region PCA gathering.

High Performance Driver Education
HPDE will run Friday through Sunday at one of the most exhilarating circuits in the Midwest.
This on-track experience is designed to be engaging, well-run, and approachable—whether you’re a returning driver or stepping into HPDE for the first time. Additional details will be shared soon, but you can expect the same strong instruction, organization, and safety standards PCA members trust.

APRIL 25 - SATURDAY MORNING
Driving Tour
Kick off the Escape with a scenic, organized Driving Tour through the Ozarks, led by Driving Tour Director, Rob Crane.
Enjoy the roads, enjoy your Porsche, and arrive at the track together around lunchtime. Upon arrival, participants will have the opportunity to join our always-popular Charity Parade Laps, benefiting the McPherson College KCRPCA Scholarship.
Be part of the group as we tour the Ozarks and roll into OIR together.
APRIL 25 - SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Porsche Car Show
Let us know you’ll be displaying your Porsche with us Saturday afternoon.
Saturday afternoon features a relaxed Porsche Car Show, organized by club member, Don Woody and styled similarly to the All German Car Show at the KC Car Museum Underground.
Expect a show-and-shine atmosphere that’s welcoming, social, and fun. Trophies will be awarded to class winners—but the focus is on enjoying the cars and the company.

Entry Fee: $20 per car, includes Car Show participation PLUS 2 tickets for the Saturday evening dinner
APRIL 25 - SATURDAY EVENING
BBQ Social
As the day winds down, we’ll gather for a casual Saturday night Social—surrounded by cars, friends, and PCA camaraderie.
The evening includes:
- BBQ buffet
- Cash bar and soft drinks
- A relaxed, social setting
And yes—this is when Car Show trophies will be awarded.
The Social will be held in the garage common area at OIR, creating the perfect backdrop for conversation, connection, and celebration.
Dinner is included for HPDe, Car Show, Taste of the Track participants.
Additional guests are encouraged to join the Saturday Evening BBQ Social for just $20 per person.
NEW EXPERIENCE
Taste of the Track
One of the most exciting additions to the weekend—and officially approved by PCA.
Taste of the Track gives members not participating in the HPDE, the chance to experience Ozarks International Raceway from the passenger seat during a real HPDE session.
Led by club member and PCA National Club Racing Scrutineer Brian Gay, this experience includes:
- Riding with a PCA-Certified Instructor
- A full 20-minute HPDE Novice session ride along
- Spirited, safe driving in the instructor’s car
- Helmets provided
- A commemorative “Ride the Rollercoaster” at OIR T-shirt
- Saturday night BBQ dinner
Sessions available:
- Three sessions on Saturday, April 25
- Four sessions on Sunday, April 26
Experience Ozarks International Raceway from the passenger seat during a live HPDE session.
⚠️ Spots are extremely limited, and this experience is expected to fill quickly. Early registration is strongly recommended.
